EF-Drill produces high-quality core holes

Emuge expanding its solid carbide twist drill program

EF-Drill is suited for drilling operations STEEL up to 8 x D and EF-Drill VA for the machining of austenitic stainless steels to DIN 6537 short (3 x D) and long (5 x D).
The newly developed geometry of the EF-Drill from Emuge to create the necessary conditions for an economic and reliable production of internal threads. The basis for this is to create a quality core hole drilling.
The geometry approach with the series steel (STEEL), stainless steel (VA), cast iron (GG) and hard materials (HCUT) there was previously only for taps and taps. Now the manufacturer has applied to the
carbide drill "EF-Drill", which are in addition to the recent execution STEEL HCUT and now also as VA and GG tool. A hardening of the bore wall by pressure or temperature is avoided or reduced. Thus the user the best combination of threading and boring tools for the production of thread available. The existing program of the EF-Drill has been extended by two drill types: EF-Drill Steel for drilling operations of up to 8 x D and EF-Drill VA for the machining of austenitic stainless steels in the embodiments according to DIN 6537 short (3 x D) and long (5 x D). The drills are available in the core hole dimensions for both the drilling and for the types of threads and thread milling.
